In 2025, Balexert, the leading shopping center in French-speaking Switzerland, had a remarkable year, consolidating its position as a leader. With nearly 9 million visitors over the year (8,973,566), the center attracted an ever-growing audience thanks to an enhanced offering, sustainable innovations, and a greater focus on customer well-being.

Among the highlights, the arrival of new, well-known brands has revitalized the retail offering. Iconic brands such as Aux Merveilleux de Fred, Foot Locker, H&M Home, Krispy Kreme, Mango, Ochsner Sport, and other international and local players have chosen Balexert to establish or expand their presence, bringing freshness and diversity to the shopping experience. Several retailers have also completely renovated their stores, including Denner and Tally Weijl.

The year was also marked by a major step forward in sustainability. The center commissioned 2,400 photovoltaic panels, an ambitious initiative that demonstrates its commitment to the energy transition. This installation covers a significant portion of its electricity needs, thus reducing its carbon footprint.

Always attentive to its visitors, Balexert has also introduced quiet hours, specially designed time slots to offer a peaceful environment with reduced noise and visual stimuli.

This inclusive initiative, in partnership with Autisme Genève, aims to better accommodate people sensitive to noise or crowds, thus enhancing the center’s accessibility.

With these developments, Balexert confirms its pioneering and driving role in the French-speaking Swiss business landscape. 2025 will remain a pivotal year, marked by innovation, openness, and responsibility.
