Balexert becomes an atypical partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival
A 3-year partnership has been signed between the largest shopping center in French-speaking Switzerland and the legendary music festival: the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Balexert now supports the cultural aspect of French-speaking Switzerland by joining the community of “atypical partners” of the Montreux Jazz Festival for the period 2023-2025. Balexert is proud to be associated with this unmissable event, generator of stories and legendary performances.
For this first year of collaboration, the Montreux Jazz Festival will set up in Balexert from June 6 to 17, 2023 to present to the customers of the center a retrospective exhibition of certain posters produced since the birth of the festival created by Claude Nobs in 1967.
Since 1967, the Festival has given carte blanche to Swiss and international artists to create its official poster.
This exhibition is therefore an opportunity for amateurs and novices alike to learn more about this cult event that is the Montreux Jazz Festival.
In parallel with the exhibition, a competition is organized. 10×2 concert tickets for the 2023 edition are at stake as part of a draw. The completed flyer must be deposited in the ballot box located on the Grande Place on the ground floor of Balexert.
The dates of this retrospective exhibition coincide with the arrival of the Fête de la Musique.
